I grew up in the 1980's in the Mississippi Delta. It is my suspicion (though I lack evidence to support it) that I was switched at birth, and that there is some country-music playing, Confederate flag waving good ole' boy hunting and fishing in Central Park, New York. I say that because, aside from my love of grits and hatred of snow, there is nothing Southern about me. I have spent much of my life running from my Southern heritage.

I am a recovered attorney, software developer, and writer from Jackson, Mississippi. I am married and the proud pet-parent of two greyhounds. My fiction reflects both my dry sense of humor and my skepticism toward authority of all stripes.
